Pastor Nokomis D. Jackson

Pastor Jackson is a graduate of the University of North Texas and the Mount Olive Bible Institute.

At age 7, Pastor Jackson started playing the piano for New Hope Baptist Church in Sacramento, CA and has since served as the Minister of Music for a host of churches from the age of 12,

While serving as the Minister of Music of the Greater Eleazer Baptist Church of Fort Worth, Texas, he accepted his call to preach the Gospel. On September 5, 2004, he preached his first sermon and was licensed by his father in Ministry Pastor Robert E. Dowell. 

In June 2009, he joined the Greater South Central Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Ray Hines, Jr., where he served as the Minister of Music and the Youth Pastor.  On August 25, 2013, he was solemnly and publicly set apart and ordained  to the work of the Gospel Ministry by Pastor Ray Hines Jr. On November 9, 2014, he was installed as the pastor of Greater South Central.
